This North West based Test consultancy providing testing services to their Financial Services clients (Insurance and Banking) on a UK wide basis have 2 openings for Test Managers based in either Birmingham or Manchester/Preston. The successful applicant will have a financial Services (Insurance or Banking) testing background and will have worked with a recognised testing methodology, V Model, Waterfall etc. The specific role requires the ability to devise test strategies, own the areas of systems integration testing, Unit testing, systems testing, application testing, Implementation testing and support the UAT efforts of the client.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to delivery, the client relationship, Test analysts and Test Leads as well working in a Matrix management structure with project management. ISEB or other testing qualifications would be desirable.

The initial long term assignment is in the North West of England, further assignments may be for other clients in other geographies - the client will expense travel and accommodation and an on site allowance is paid - a willingness to travel is essential.

Location:  Birmingham or Manchester/Preston

Salary:  £35,000 -£47,000 plus bonus, pension , health and substantial allowances.
