If you have approximately 1 years experience of working on a Helpdesk providing 1st line support and 2nd line support and are looking for a role with scope and opportunity then read on! My client is looking for someone with a genuine interest in IT looking to further develop their skills within a rapidly expanding environment. You will already have 1 years experience providing support within a Windows Desktop and Windows Server environment with technologies such as Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 etc. A MCP or other Microsoft accreditation (MCSE, MCITP) would be desirable as would Cisco knowledge and MS Exchange skills. Partnered with a number of market leaders such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare and NetApp, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to a variety of different end clients. With an emphasis on providing quality support, previous experience of working within an ITIL environment is desirable. This role would suit someone who has a flair for solving problems and a natural interest in learning about technology. As well as utilising your Windows skills you will also be resolving problems with technologies such as Exchange. My client is one of the world’s leading systems integrators, they are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect/Technical Architect to join key project.
You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all aspects of enterprise infrastructure solution and design. From capturing client requirements, translating these into technical solutions across multiple technology platforms and documenting them from Conceptual through to Physical levels, you will be involved in all stages of the life-cycle. During this process you will be responsible for selecting component pieces of the technology solution and ensuring that these elements integrate seamlessly with all other aspects of the technology solution.
To be considered for this role you will have a successful track record in the design and delivery of large scale enterprise architecture, from initial concepts, design and architecture of options and chosen solution, through to implementation and delivery. In addition you will be able to demonstrate the following experience and competencies: High levels of expertise in working collaboratively with senior managers both internally and externally, whilst directing the work of junior architects and project resources, either through direct assignment management or matrix management. Clear track record of effectively managing competing work deliverables and priorities both individually and through others to ensure successful project outcomes. Willingness to effectively leverage previous experience and work through complex issues from first principles, whist demonstrating persistence in pursing workable, scalable technology solutions. My client is a well established, non profit organisation; they are currently seeking an Infrastructure Analyst to join them. You will report into the Technical Support Manager and will become part of team responsible for management, implementation and support of all managed infrastructure. The duties will also include liaising with third party vendors in order to provide problem resolution for infrastructure which our client is responsible or liaise with managed service providers for infrastructure managed under a managed service agreement. The role will include scope for evaluation of new infrastructure related products and will require the individual to liaise closely with other IT teams and business users in order that the technical infrastructure is aligned with the needs of the business. JOB PROFILE: You will work as part of a team and will be required to maintain a high standard of work within a dynamic and sometimes demanding environment. The ability to communicate at a technical level is essential, but also being able to communicate in clear and concise fashion to non-technical business is equal of importance. The job holder will be required to think tactically to adapt to changing priorities, but also strategically to ensure that NHBC infrastructure develops according to the agreed roadmap. The job holder should demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach in supporting the implementation and general support of all NHBC architecture. JOB HOLDER PROFILE: Extensive knowledge of MS products including Active Directory, Exchange, Sql Server and Windows Server environments up to and including 2008 is essential. Installation, configuration and documentation of Server based applications where used to support NHBC environment. Proactive monitoring of all network infrastructures through available infrastructure monitors. Problem investigation relating to all NHBC supported infrastructure. Support of upgrades to servers and other supported infrastructure. Maintain close communication with support vendors. Use of the appropriate incident, change and problem management tools to support. Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer other members of the Technical Support Team and other teams within the IT department. Ensure appropriate liaison on support issues with other IT teams.
